The Great Southern Endurance Run is positioned to be a long standing and iconic 100 miler in Australia.

The GSER100 promises to change the landscape of 100 mile events in Australia with the following features all combining to create a unique and worthy challenge for any endurance runner.

  • Point to point course – starting on top of Mt Buller and finishing in the athlete friendly township of Bright, Victoria.
  • Elevation and descent to rival the toughest European and North American endurance events – ie: UTMB, Western States, Hardrock Endurance Run, Mt Fuji Ultra.
  • UTMB – rating at 6 points making it an ideal stop before committing to the travel and cost of Europe
  • 105 Miles of pure mountain running – no out and backs – a pure journey
  • Single trail, long stretches of self sufficient running – a true challenge of both physical and mental strength
  • A heroes finish in Bright – beside the Ovens River and in the town centre
