Drop Bags 50

Runners in the 50 mile event are able to have drop bags at the following aid stations:

  • Upper Howqua
  • Gardners Hut on the return leg

    • Please see guide below which outlined the limits for Drop Bags at each of the aid stations.

    Upper Howqua Campground

    Location: Upper Howqua Campground
    Distance: 46.2km
    Crew: YES
    Notes for ALL Runners:

  • DROP Bags are allowed for ALL runners at this aid station however if you have crew coming – please do not pack a drop bag!
  • Drop bags are limited to the size of a standard drawstring backpack.
  • A standard Drawstring Backpack will be provided and numbered for you at check in.

    • Gardners Hut

    Location: Gardners Hut
    Distance: 80.8km
    Crew: YES
    Notes for ALL Runners:

  • Crew can access Gardners hut and are encouraged to do so on the return leg only.
  • From the roadside parking there is approx 300m walk on a trail to the Aid Station.
  • DROP Bags are allowed for ALL runners at this aid station
  • Drop bags are limited to the size of a standard drawstring backpack.
  • A standard Drawstring Backpack will be provided and numbered for you at check in.
